AI×Drawing:AI detects handwritten symbols in the drawings and replaces with pre-learned shapes in the CAD data

System Outline

By using “AI×Drawing”, the handwritten symbols in the drawings can be judged by AI and replaced with the shapes AI learned in advance. For example, you can handwrite the symbols on the paper drawings at the housing waterworks on-site investigation and then scan the drawings as soon as you return your office. By reading the drawings using CAD, handwritten symbols will be replaced with pre-learned shapes automatically. In addition, by using raster-to-vector conversion technology, it can convert building structure into CAD data and by applying the auto-design function, water piping design can be automatically generated.

Features of “AI×Drawing”

Systems Nakashima has been challenging to improve the drawing works efficiency by integrating more than 35 years of CAD development know-how and the leading-edge technologies. Facing the shortage of human resources and the decreasing number of skilled engineers, we can make AI to learn and utilize the empirical value of skilled engineers and reduce the workload of less resource environment.

“AI×Drawing” has following features.

■ Identify handwritten elements by AI and plots pre-learned shapes in CAD.
■ By using raster-to-vector technology, building structure can be converted into CAD data.
■ Add wiring and piping information to versatile elements such as DXF and JWW.
■ Automatic piping design can be realized by utilizing automatic design function.
■ Enable simple estimation by setting the unit price of each material.
